I warn you now, this is a book you're going to want to share.

Here's where to pick it up at MLP: http://www.marcherlordpress.com/books/annotated_firebird.html

Don't forget to visit Ms. Tyers own page at www.kathytyers.com to stay up to date on what fantastic tales she's weaving and for other interviews and give aways! The League of Extraordinary Scribeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06724435173375412059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700709924267604111.post-26517791852099592792011-07-01T16:30:21.446-07:002011-07-01T16:30:21.446-07:00Thank you so much, Ms. Tyers, for pouring out your...Thank you so much, Ms. Tyers, for pouring out your knowledge and experience with such calculated abandon. I know that I'll be thinking about, and chewing on your answers for several days.

And thank you Nathanael for your thoughtful and thought-provoking questions. Together, you and Kathy have crafted the best kind of interview; one leaks slowly down though the layers of the self and settles in the very marrow of the bones.

On a side note, Ms. Tyers I work in a Christian Bookstore (Independent) and I can still remember when I first saw Bethany House re-printed the Firebird trilogy. I believe I yelped, grabbed the book, bought it (it was the three in one) and I might have run around the store gimbling now and then because an old friend had returned.

I had the pleasure of introducing you and your work to several readers in the next generation, and even some grandmothers and grand fathers who smacked the book and declared "Now that's how you write Science Fiction."

I really do love your Fire Bird books, but Shivering World holds a very special place in my heart as I found myself between and betwixt those pages as I have not found myself anywhere else. I can still remember thinking 'Would you look at that, someone very like me, and she winds up a hero'.

That is a gift I hope to one day pass along to another reader.everlastingscribehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10390789953931295135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700709924267604111.post-1185175995545510012011-07-01T12:48:39.532-07:002011-07-01T12:48:39.532-07:00Yay! (I must have read my illustrated copy dozens of times each year). I still have vivid flying dreams, and that yearning often shows up in my stories in various ways. Firebird sounds fascinating! I'll have to get my hands on a copy!Rachel Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02750953159925477298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700709924267604111.post-25095688977036659212011-07-01T10:40:42.536-07:002011-07-01T10:40:42.536-07:00OH WOW!
